The US finds Space for Dialogue with North Korea. The United States has become somewhat more confident about a possible solution to the conflict with North Korea. That’s what the US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says.
Tillerson says they have not seen missile launches or other provocations of North Korea since UN Security Council resolution unanimously adopted new sanctions.
He hopes it’s the beginning of a signal that the US has been waiting for. “We need to see even more of them, but I want to emphasize that we see this.” According to Tillerson, this could pave the way for ‘a kind of dialogue.’
In recent months, the two leaders of the countries, Kim-Jong-un and Donald Trump, fought each other with war language. Trump said, among other things, that North Korea can count on ‘fire and anger as the world has never seen’ if the country does not bind….
