7889 new infections were registered, bringing the total to 576,952.
Lockdown measures are now being lifted in Moscow and other regions. Russia is preparing to hold a referendum on July 1, despite the epidemic.

Critics have expressed doubts about the relatively low official death rate in Russia and have accused authorities of downplaying the magnitude of the crisis.
