YouTube Has Removed 30 Million Videos in A Years

YouTube removed 30 million videos in the one year. It involves videos that go corresponding the guidelines of Google’s video service.

 

Automatic systems signal further than 80 percent of the removed videos, reports the NOS based on a report that YouTube has shared with the broadcaster.

Three-quarters of the automatically deleted videos were removed according to the company before even one user saw it.

YouTube has been publishing how many videos are being removed from the platform every quarter for a year. From January to September 2018 it involved a total of almost 24.2 million videos.

In the third quarter of 2018, most of the deleted videos were spam, deception or fraud. In three months, 72.2 percent of the videos were removed from the platform for that reason.
