The US economy created more jobs than expected in February. The largest economy in the world is benefiting from the sharply falling corona figures.

In total, 678,000 jobs were added in February. That is well above the expected 400,000 additional jobs and significantly more than the 481,000 jobs added in January.

The US unemployment rate has fallen from 4 percent to 3.8 percent and is now approaching the pre-corona level of 3.5 percent.
