Russia for the first time reported more than 500 deaths from the coronavirus on Wednesday.
Health authorities stated that there were 507 new deaths over the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of fatalities from a corona infection to 37,538.
The country registered 23,675 new infections over the past 24 hours, including 4,685 in the capital Moscow.
