On Monday, the Ukrainian government is demanding another ceasefire and immediate withdrawal of Russian troops in the fourth round of talks with Russia.
One of the Ukrainian negotiators, Mikhailo Podoljak, said this ahead of the consultation this time being held online.
The first consultations between the warring parties took place on February 28 in southeastern Belarus and lasted five hours. After that, two more consultation rounds were held. The foreign ministers of the two countries met for an hour on Thursday in the Turkish resort of Antalya.
According to the Russian news agency TASS, there could now be daily online consultations. However, as far as we know, the positions of Ukraine and Russia have hardly changed.
