Dozens Killed in Bangladesh Factory Fire

At least 52 people have been killed in a fire at a food factory in Bangladesh, police said on Friday. Dozens of people are said to be missing.

Rescuers are still recovering bodies from the burning factory in Rupganj, near the capital Dhaka, where the fire has been raging since Thursday afternoon.

Many of the thirty injured tried to save their lives by jumping from the top floors of the building. The factory has six floors.

It is yet another fatal corporate fire in Bangladesh. In 2013, the collapse of a clothing factory outside Dhaka killed 1,135 people.
