A second death from monkeypox has been reported in Spain, a day after the first death was reported from the disease.

“Of the 3750 patients, 120 have been hospitalized, and two have died,” the Spanish Ministry of Health reported.

Most infected people in Spain are male, and the average age is 37 years. Shortly before Spain, Brazil reported its first death from the monkeypox virus.

That was the first death outside Africa in the current outbreak that started in Europe just under two months ago.
