Criticism of President Erdogan is Growing: Government was Not Well Prepared for Earthquake

Turkey will not compromise when it comes to the Eastern Mediterranean. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said this on Wednesday.

He warned Greece not to take steps that could “ruin” the country.

The two NATO countries are in the heated feud as they both search for oil and gas in disputed waters around Crete and Cyprus.

“We don’t look at other people’s territory, sovereignty and interests, but we don’t compromise on our property,” Erdogan said.

“In the Mediterranean, the Aegean and the Black Sea, Turkey will get what it deserves”.

He spoke soon after Greece announced military exercises with France, Italy and Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea south of Crete.
