The death toll from Saturday’s Russian airstrikes on Kyiv has risen to five. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital has reported this.
There are also several injured.
Three deaths were on Saturday, but two more bodies were found under the rubble. An apartment building was hit in the Solomyanski district, causing damage to three floors.
The attack was one of the heaviest in recent times in Kyiv. The prosecutor in the capital has launched an investigation into war crimes.
