China and US Sign Phase 1 Trade Deal, Good for Both Countries, Good for the World

US President Donald Trump and Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Liu He have just signed their signature under the Phase 1 trade agreement following a roaring press conference at the White House.

With the partial trade deal, the two countries make their mark in their trade war that started a year and a half ago.

Trump holds back some ongoing criminal charges on Chinese goods: “Otherwise we will have nothing to negotiate anymore”.

“We will soon start negotiating phase 2,” Trump said at the press conference about signing the deal. A bit better deal.

The US president does not expect a phase 3, but after agreement on phase 2, the trade deal with China must be settled, Trump said he would travel to China specifically for that.
