Blunder at Oscars – A huge mistake during the Oscars: not initially reported La La Land, the fourteen nominated romantic musical, but Moonlight is the best movie of the year.
Initially it was reported by actor Warren Beatty that La La Land, which earlier in the evening for five Oscars had won, was among more for best director and best actress, the winner of the most prestigious statuette.
Corrected At-last!
But that was corrected while the creators of La La Land were already busy with their thanks. Not the musical, but the film Moonlight revealed the winner of the best film. Beatty had been given the wrong envelope.
La La Land won further or prices for song, best music, best cinematography, best production design and best director.
