US President Donald Trump has still not made himself heard on Twitter at 7 am local time on Saturday. Usually, Trump is already tweeting and retweeting around that time.
Yet, now that the president has been admitted to a military hospital with Covid-19, his profile remains unusually quiet with 86.7 million followers.
The president sent his last tweet on Friday around 11:30 am (local time). In it, he wrote: “Going well, I think! Thank you to all. LOVE !!!” (Goes well I guess! Thanks to all of you. LOVE !!!).
In February last year, details about Trump’s daily schedule leaked to Axios news website.
It became clear that Trump usually wakes up before 6 am and then spends five hours of unstructured time watching television, reading newspapers, and responding to what he sees and reads. Typically, activity has also been posted on Trump’s Twitter account since then.
The president, who is said to have a fever, constipation and cough, is in Walter Reed Military Hospital in Bethesda. He has a presidential suite there where he can continue his duties.
