Tesla is about to mass production of its electric truck.
Chief executive Elon Musk of the electric car maker said in an email that it is “time for that,” reports Reuters news agency, which recognized the email.

The batteries for the trucks and electric motors are made at the Tesla plant in Nevada, Musk continues.
Tesla had previously indicated that the first trucks, which have been given the name Tesla Semi, will be delivered to customers in 2021.
It is unclear whether that goal is being brought forward now.
