The Saudi King Salman and his son Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received family members from the journalist Jamal Khashoggi on Tuesday in Riyadh. This is what the Saudi state press agency SPA reports.
The members of the family were Salah bin Jamal Khashoggi, the son of the government critic and Khashoggi’s brother Sahl.
The king and his son condemned the two with the loss of their neighbour. The relatives would have thanked the king for their sympathy, according to SPA.
Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to Khashoggi’s family on Tuesday and offered his condolences.
He promised that his country would do everything to solve the murder. Erdogan expressed his deep sadness during the conversation with family members, according to presidential sources.
