Instagram Allows Users to Scroll Horizontally Instead of Vertically Via App
Instagram has executed an update to its app so that users now have to browse through photos horizontally. The function reinstates the usual timeline where users can scroll vertically.
The update seems to have been rolled out on a large scale Thursday afternoon among many users.
The way of communication is similar to how Instagram Stories work. To view a new message, users now have to swipe left or right.
Messages with various photos are grouped individually and require a new movement to the left or right for each new picture.
Users who scroll down after a chosen photo can see which other users have liked the post and reacted to the post.
