The heads of government of the EU countries will meet on Wednesday by a video about the situation in Belarus.
Charles Michel, President of the European Council, broadcasted this on Monday.
“The Belarusian people have the right to decide their own future and choose their own leader,” Michel tweeted.
“Violence in contradiction of protesters is intolerable and cannot be allowed.”
EU countries on Friday announced sanctions against Belarusian officials involved in the violence and alleged electoral fraud.
