Bellingcat Claim Identified Skripal Case Suspect Boshirov
Bellingcat Claim Identified Skripal Case Suspect Boshirov. The journalistic research network Bellingcat says he has discovered the identity of one of the suspects in the Skripal case.
According to the researchers, it is a colonel at the Russian military intelligence service GROe.
The suspect identified by Bellingcat appeared earlier on Russian television under the name Roeslan Timurovich Bosjirov. There the man and a co-defendant claimed that they were visiting Great Britain as tourists. They would have nothing to do with the assassination attempt on former spy Sergei Skripal.
According to the research network, the two men were indeed undercover agents of the GROe. The colonel identified would be Anatoli Chepiga. Several initiates have already confirmed that, says Bellingcat.
Tsjepiga received a high Russian award in 2014: Hero of the Russian Federation. He probably received the man from Vladimir Putin according to Bellingcat.
