Agreement for 100 Million Extra Vaccines for Poor Countries
The vaccine alliance GAVI has reached an agreement with pharmaceutical company Serum to make 100 million extra doses of corona vaccines for poor countries.
As a result of the agreement, the Indian Serum will now make 200 million doses.
A dose of this vaccine should cost $ 3 when it is ready.
GAVI is an organization founded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that tries to make vaccines for diseases, such as the coronavirus, cheaply available in poor countries.
For the time being, especially wealthy countries have bought up many corona vaccines.
