A crew member of the US aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt died of the coronavirus. According to American media, this is the first victim of the corona outbreak on the ship, which already led to the departure of the Secretary of Navy.
The crew member was admitted to the intensive care unit of a naval hospital on April 9.
