American actor Kevin Spacey will appear before a London judge on Friday around 2 p.m. local time (2 p.m. in the UK).
He must answer there for new allegations of sexual abuse between 2001 and 2004.
The 63-year-old actor is accused of forcing a man to have “non-consensual sex”. In total, Spacey faces seven charges.
In the wake of the #MeToo movement in 2017, several victims accused the actor of sexual assault. He is currently being prosecuted in the UK for a further four assaults against three different men.
Those facts occurred between 2005 and 2013 when Spacey was the director of a London theatre. He pleaded not guilty in July. Last October, Spacey was found not guilty of sexual assault by a New York civil court.
