US Vice President Mike Pence has gone into home isolation after his press secretary tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday.
That says three sources who are aware of the situation against news agency Bloomberg.
Pence did not attend meetings with President Donald Trump and top military officials on Saturday.
The vice president was tested negative for a coronavirus infection on Sunday but remains at home as a precaution.
That’s what people told Bloomberg who want to remain anonymous because the quarantine measure has not yet been made public.
Pence’s press secretary, Katie Miller, is the main spokesperson for the White House coronavirus task force. That team is led by Pence and last met on Thursday.
