Tesla wants to make its new Cybertruck in the state of Texas anyway. But no decision has yet been made about the exact location of the new Giga factory in the United States.
Elon Musk of the electric car manufacturer has announced this on Twitter.
Earlier, Musk reported looking at multiple locations for the production of the electric pickup truck unveiled in November.
Tesla has already received many orders for the vehicle and indicated last year that it would like to start production at the end of 2021.
The Cybertruck’s presentation in November was dramatic. The head design of the American car manufacturer wanted to demonstrate that the futuristic-looking vehicle is extra sturdy but accidentally destroyed two windows.
The pickup truck’s design also generated mixed reactions among connoisseurs, while analysts hoped Tesla could capture a significant share of the traditionally-tuned pickup truck market.
