WHO: $16 Billion Needed for Corona Approach in Poor Countries

The World Health Organization WHO has “no evidence” yet that people who have recovered from a coronavirus infection and have antibodies are also protected against a second infection.

In a statement, the UN organization warns against issuing so-called “immunity passports”.

Such documents or health declarations may even promote the spread of the virus. Standard advice may no longer be followed by people, the WHO warns on Saturday.

Chile announced last week that it would begin issuing “health passports” to people who have been declared cured of Covid-19.

If antibodies are found in their blood, they should be able to return to work immediately.
