Real Madrid won the first match against city-mate Atlético Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League. The title holder triumphed on his own with 3-0. Cristiano Ronaldo made all the hits.

The Portuguese Vedette first hit in the tenth minute and then finished in the 73rd minute. In the 86th minute, Ronaldo beat again. He brought his total to the Champions League main tournament at 103 hits. With this, he is the record holder.

Real Madrid did himself with a 1-0 deficit. The home team, with Isco expected for injured Gareth Bale, had a big overweight but needed too many opportunities to score.

Particularly Karim Benzema, among others with a magnificent turnout, and Luka Modric failed to hurt the vulnerable defense of Atlético. Goalkeeper Jan Oblak rescued a header by Raphaël Varane.

The return will be in Estadio Vicente Calderon next week. That will be the 268th edition of the ‘El Derbi Madrileño.’ Real won 138 times, Atlético only 67 times.
