North Korea Withdraws Staff from the Inter Korean Liaison Office
North Korea has withdrawn its personnel from the inter-Korean liaison office. South Korea announced this on Friday, a few weeks after the failure of the second summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and US president Donald Trump in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The office was opened in September last year in the North Korean border village of Kaesong.
It was part of the rapprochement between the two Korea’s. The intention was to improve communication between the two countries.
