Motorola Introduces New Moto G 5G Plus
During an online event, Motorola presented its new moto g 5G plus, a smartphone with – of course – 5G technology on board, but also with a 48MP quad-camera system and a 21: 9 CinemaVision screen.
With the 6.7-inch screen of the new moto g 5G plus, in addition to the (extra) elongated aspect ratio, the high refresh rate of 90Hz is also striking.
This must guarantee extremely smooth images for films, games and certain apps. The Full HD + screen is also certified for HDR10, for more contrast and colour fastness for content that supports this imaging technology.
The moto g 5G plus is also the debut for Motorola’s wide-angle dual selfie camera system. According to the manufacturer, up to four times more people (or background) can fit on a photo. At the rear, the new motorcycle even has four cameras.
There is a 48MP primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology, a wide-angle lens, a depth sensor for realistic bokeh effects (blurred backgrounds) and a macro camera for close-up shots, such as insects or flowers.
The moto g 5G plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 Mobile Platform with the X52 Modem-RF system. According to Motorola, the 5,000 mAh battery lasts two days and can be refuelled quickly via a 20W TurboPower charger.
The moto g 5G plus will be available in the Benelux from the end of July in two variants, starting at € 349.99 for the version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The other model costs 399.99 euros and offers 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
