North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has indicated that he is willing to sit down with President Trump for the third time to discuss dismantling North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. But according to him, Trump must come up with the “right attitude”.
According to Kim, the tension between the two countries threatens to rise again after the failure of the summit with President Trump in Hanoi at the end of February.
That turned out to be unsuccessful because, according to the American president, Kim Jong-un did not offer enough concessions in exchange for lifting the American sanctions against the country.
Kim promised to dismantle the Yongbyon nuclear complex, including the enrichment facilities. But according to Trump, Kim demanded that the US withdraw all sanctions in return.
The Americans were not prepared to do that. American experts suspect North Korea that it still has two installations where they can enrich uranium.
