Consultation Failed: Strikes are Still On with Ryanair. The conciliation meeting between trade unions and management has not yielded anything at Ryanair.
The strikes that were planned next Friday, August 10, according to the trade unions continue.
The Irish trade union Forsa reacted positively last week to the question of Ryanair to give the dialogue another chance, but the gap between management and trade union is now unbridgeable.
There were no promises by the Ryanair management about, for example, respecting labour law or recognising a union delegation within the company.
On 10 August, not only Irish pilots will stop, but also the Swedish colleagues.
Ryanair reported earlier that on 10 August “104 flights to and from Belgium will be cancelled on more than 2,400 European flights”.
