Apple is Launching Arcade to Test for Users Early. Apple has put its Apple Arcade live for users of its iOS 13 beta program. The game streaming service was to be launched on September 19.

Apple Arcade is the game streaming service that the tech giant uses to compete with, among other things, Google’s Stages and existing streaming services on, for example, Microsoft’s Xbox and Sony’s PlayStation.

With Apple Arcade, users can play games on their various Apple devices in exchange for a monthly fee of around five euros.

At the moment, there are about fifty titles available, including the majority of indie games or less well-known titles. The catalogue would be expanded every month with new games.

The Arcade works on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, and Mac computers, and synchronises between devices, allowing you to switch from your iPhone to your computer when you get home, for example. The streaming service is free to try for a month.
