Facebook is Blaming Prime Minister Israel

Facebook has reprimanded Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. He has violated privacy rules, according to the social media company.

Facebook removed a message from the head of government calling on followers to give him phone numbers of people over 60 who have not been vaccinated against corona.

He could then call those people and persuade them to get vaccinated.

Facebook also interrupted Netanyahu’s chatbot, an automated interlocutor, for a week. The chatbot had sent private messages to followers and asked them to provide personal information about the over-60s.

The social network does not allow content sharing or soliciting medical information from people; Israeli media cite Facebook’s statement.
