London Acid Attacks: Two Teens Arrested after 5 Attacks in 90 Minutes. The police in London arrested two teenagers suspected of a number of attacks with a corrosive substance in the east of the city. The 15 and 16-year-old suspects inject a corrosive substance into the faces of their victims.

 

The incidents occurred within one and a half hours in the Hackney and Stoke Newington districts. The attackers were on a moped. According to the BBC and Down Town News, suspect teenagers were arrested on suspicion of robbery and serious injury.

The victims were transferred to the hospital. In one of the victims, police injuries are life threatening or at least very serious. Eyewitnesses say they heard scream on the street.

London is currently experiencing a wave of acid attacks. At the end of last month a man and his niece were sprayed with a bitter liquid while in the car. The BBC reports that since 1800 there were already 1800 attacks. Last year there were 458 victims, against 261 in 2015.
