According to Moscow’s defence ministry, Russian airstrikes last night hit 73 military targets, “destroying” seven armoured vehicles and up to 40 soldiers.
A ministry spokesman said the nighttime attack on mainly “tactical targets” in the Novovorontsovka and Kyselivka regions used high-precision missiles.
In addition to the aerial attacks, ground troops and artillery shelled 1,053 military targets, the spokesman said. However, Ukraine or independent sources have not confirmed the information.
The spokesman did not give any details about the ground offensive going on since the beginning of this week in the eastern region of Donbas or over captured areas. The Russian army captured the city of Kreminna on Tuesday, the Ukrainian governor of Luhansk province reported.
