Google is blocking the ability to download the mobile app from news channel RT (formerly Russia Today) on Ukrainian territory.
That happened at the government’s request in Kyiv, reports the pro-Russian news channel financed by the Russian state.

The decision comes a day after Google already blocked monetising several Russian YouTube channels. Previously, Facebook did the same.
