The American Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) has also finally approved the Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech.
Robert Redfield, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said on Sunday that he had signed an advisory panel’s recommendation on Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.
This advisory committee voted 11 to 0 on Saturday to recommend the vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech for Americans 16 and older.
The American drug watchdog FDA already gave a license to use the vaccine on Friday. The first vaccinations will start in the United States on Monday.
