TikTok Owner ByteDance is Fully Committed to the Education Division
ByteDance, the Chinese owner of the movie app TikTok, is fully committed to its education division. The company wants to recruit 13,000 new employees this year.
For example, ByteDance wants to play a more significant role in China’s online education market.
Online education and educational technology have boomed in China in recent months. Like in our country, the corona pandemic means that many remote studies are taking place. The market for online education in China is said to have grown by more than a third last year.
ByteDance’s education branch is called Dali, which loosely translates to ‘great strength’.
Founded last year, Dali offers teaching methods across the breadth of the educational field – from pre-primary to adult education. Dali also focuses on smart, connected teaching materials.
ByteDance aims to attract ten thousand education professionals, such as teachers and teaching and material designers, over the next four months. In addition, the company is seeking for the recruitment of some three thousand recent graduates.
