Zabihullah Mujahid, the official spokesman for the Taliban, congratulated the Afghan people on the withdrawal of US troops from the country on Tuesday morning.
“This victory belongs to all of us,” he said at a press conference at the airport in the Afghan capital, Kabul. Mujahid spoke hours after the last Americans left.
