Student who Shot Parents Dead on the American Campus. The American police arrested this morning a student suspected of murdering his parents. He would have shot his parents Friday in a student apartment on the Central Michigan University campus in Mount Pleasant.
According to a spokesperson for the university, the student was picked up by the police shortly after midnight (local time) after a long manhunt. The police found him after a tip from a train passenger who saw him walk away at the northern exit of the campus.
The parents were shot when they came to pick up their son for the spring break. According to the police, the young man was taken to a local hospital on Thursday after a suspected overdose or a ‘bad reaction’ to drugs.
The shooting incident in Mount Pleasant caused a lot of commotion in the US. Just two weeks ago, a former student with a semi-automatic rifle started a massacre at Douglas High in Parkland, Florida. Seventeen people were shot dead. The drama fueled the discussion about legal restrictions on gun ownership.
