Nvidia Plans to Make $500 Billion Worth of AI Equipment in the US

The American company Nvidia, the largest manufacturer of chips for artificial intelligence, wants to produce approximately $500 billion worth of AI technology in the United States over the next four years.

The company plans to achieve this goal by working with several manufacturing partners.

For example, the latest generation of AI chips, also known as Blackwell, is being produced in collaboration with a new Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSMC) factory in Phoenix. Nvidia reports that other activities are being done in Texas with Foxconn and Wistron and in Arizona with Amkor and Siliconware Precision Industries.

“By manufacturing in the U.S., we can better meet the massive and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, while strengthening our supply chain and increasing our resilience,” said Jensen Huang, Nvidia CEO.

US President Donald Trump wants to encourage companies to invest more in the US. Therefore, he has also introduced the much-discussed import duties.
