Tesla is considering building an electric car factory in Russia in the future.
CEO Elon Musk said this at an event for Russian students that the Kremlin organized.
According to Musk, Tesla may soon start building a presence in Russia. Currently, Teslas are only sold in minimal numbers in the country.

Musk spoke via video link at the event, at the invitation of Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov.
Musk also spoke positively about Russian space travel history. He further called for more dialogue between Washington and Moscow.
“There is a lot of talent and energy in Russia. I think there should be more dialogue and communication between Russia and the United States, ”said Musk.
