Microsoft has released a Windows 11 installation file for the first time. This allows users to install the operating system on a new device easily.
Since the announcement of Windows 11, there was already a first preview build at the end of June. With the arrival of Windows Insider Preview Build 22000.132, an ISO is also available that can be used for both an upgrade and a completely new installation. The ISO also shows the new Windows 11 installation procedure.
Those wishing to try the ISO must enrol in the Windows Insider Program and then download the installation file from the Windows Insider Preview Downloads page. Afterwards, you can put the file on a bootable USB stick and install it on a PC.
The final version of Windows 11 is officially scheduled for the end of this year. However, there have already been indications that the operating system would already be released at the end of October or early November.
