Joe Biden can be A Possible Successor in the Run-Up to the US Presidential Election

In the run-up to the US presidential election, speculation is growing as to who will become Joe Biden’s vice-presidential candidate.

The Democratic challenger of incumbent President Donald Trump probably announces in the week of August 10 who he has chosen as a running mate.

Biden, who himself was vice president under Barack Obama, said earlier this year that he wanted to choose around August 1.

He moved that deadline later and said he would decide before the end of the first week of August.

Insiders recently told The Washington Post that it might not be revealed until a week later who the choice was made.

The 77-year-old politician has already promised to choose a woman. He said that four black women are also on the list of candidates.

Because of the Black Lives Matter movement, which is on the rise again, the call for a black woman behind Biden is also getting louder.
