Google Already Extends Work From Home Until July 2021
Because of the corona pandemic, the American internet giant Google has decided to extend work from home for its employees until July 2021.
The Wall Street Journal reports Monday.
The decision affects nearly all full-time employees or contract employees of parent company Alphabet, or some 200,000 people in total, the newspaper said on the authority of insiders.
Google had so far reported that it would allow telework until the end of this year.
According to the newspaper, Google would also look at how it could assist employees with children, since it is still unclear all over the world whether the schools will remain fully open due to the coronavirus.
