4 Jihadists Killed 5 Arrested after Mali Resort Attack. In an anti-terrorist campaign, Mali’s army killed four terrorists and arrested five. They attacked a hotel on the outskirts of Malian capital Bamako yesterday.
The extremists attacked the resort yesterday and killed two guests, a Frenchman and allegedly an Angolan. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers wanted to kill white guests. At the time of the attack, Malinese militants were accidentally attacked, and the terrorists fought. Thus 36 people could be saved, including six Dutchmen.
One of the Dutch was a staff member of the embassy. Who the other five were, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs could not say.
There were more than ten injured. According to local media, the hostage could be even worse. The resort consists of scattered holiday homes and attractions and would have been a good place for hostages or murder parties for the terrorists.
