There is A Good Chance that the Queen’s Speech will be Rejected
The chance of a Brexit with a deal on October 31 has been shortened for Prime Minister Boris Johnson now that Parliament has rejected its legislative timetable. The Brexit is therefore again delayed. What now?
Are new parliamentary elections coming now that Boris Johnson is not getting his way from parliament?
That is still unclear. That depends on the delay of the Brexit. If it is a short delay Johnson will try to push the legislation for this with some delay through the parliament.
If it is a long delay, the prime minister will steer for parliamentary elections.
There are sounds from Brussels that the European Union wants to delay Britain until January 31. How will he respond?
So far, he has always said that he finds that unacceptable. But you never know with him. He wants to change his mind. Do not forget that he asked Brussels for a postponement.
