The German vaccination committee STIKO advises people under the age of 30 only to be vaccinated with the corona vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech.
Also, only this drug should be used to vaccinate pregnant women against Covid-19.

The advice is based on the higher number of people who will have inflammation in the heart after vaccination with the Moderna vaccine. For the same reason, the French health authorities also advised on Tuesday that Moderna should no longer be used for the vaccination of young people.
STIKO consists of experts who advise the authorities on vaccination use. The government has yet to adopt the committee’s recommendations.
