In the centre of London, a demonstration against the lockdown measures on Saturday resulted in disturbances and arrests.
Hundreds of protesters marching around the city near Oxford Street chanted slogans like “freedom” and carried signs saying “stop checking us”.
According to Sky News, violence broke out between protesters and police when agents wanted to disperse the large group.
Traffic was stopped on Regent Street while the police were busy handcuffing people lying on the road.
In the run-up to the protest, three arrests had already been made at King’s Cross station for non-compliance with corona rules.
In Hyde Park people were also taken away in a handcuffed way.
