Rescue workers have found the body of a young girl, aged 5 or 6, on the Italian island of Ischia. The prefecture in Naples confirms this on Sunday.

The body of a 31-year-old woman was found on Saturday. Ten people are still missing.

On the night from Friday to Saturday, the island in the Mediterranean Sea was hit by a storm and heavy rain. The coastal towns of Casamicciol Terme and Lacco Ameno were particularly hard hit. Several people were injured in the landslide.

Nearly 170 people had to leave their homes, some with the help of the authorities. More than ten people are still missing.

There are already at least two fatalities to regret. First, the body of 31-year-old Eleonora Sirabella was found. The mudslide destroyed her home, and her body was swept hundreds of feet. Now there is also a second fatality.
