US President Joe Biden has authorized an additional $675 million in arms aid to Ukraine.
The aid includes howitzers, missiles and artillery ammunition, Defense Minister Lloyd Austin announced on Thursday at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany.
Austin is at Ramstein to discuss with dozens of defence ministers how to help Ukraine in the long term against the Russian invasion.
During the consultations, among other things, how countries can cooperate in training Ukrainian soldiers.
