In a sold out Ahoy defeated the number fourteen of the world David Goffin in a thrilling match. The Belgian was put aside in three sets 4-6 6-4 6-1.
It is the thirteenth ATP title for Tsonga who played his 24th final. At Rotterdam, the Frenchman already in the final, as he had lost in 2011 by the Swedish tennis player Robin Soderling
